Brioni holds a prestigious reputation in luxury menswear. Nazareno Fonticoli founded the Brioni factory in the Fifties in his hometown on Penne in the Abruzzo region.
Previously, Fonticoli was a celebrated tailor for his dedicated craftsmanship in Rome, providing master tailoring in his Brioni shop since 1945. Along with his business associate, Gaetano Savini, Fonticoli introduced the concept of pret-a-couture, and so, founded the factory in Penne, to bring his artistry to the world.

Each Brioni garment undergoes an unmatched creation process of 220 stages!
The fabric is painstakingly selected from one of the local Italian mill suppliers for calibre, condition and grade by master tailors, Enzo Fiore or Angelo Petrucci.
Each jacket is fashioned from five layers of fabric, padding, horsehair and lining that furnish a blazer with just the correct amount of rigidity.
There are over 7000 fastidiously hidden hand made stitches which culminate in pieces that are unsurpassed in elegance.
Buttonholes are carved by hand by a team of master tailors who are chosen for their exceptional dexterity of hand.
Every jacket is submitted to 80 steams and pressings before being conferred with the Brioni label.
The attention to detail is why Brioni is the singular Bespoke Italian tailor that has progressed to become a global phenomenon.
Brioni suits are worn only by a small circle of powerful and wealthy gentlemen. For many years it has been the label of choice for James Bond: Pierce Brosnan exclusively wore Brioni in all of his james Bond outings and Daniel Craig continued this tradition in Casino Royale. Other comveyors of fine menswear such as Tony Bennet and Clark Gable are/were proud owners of Brioni masterpieces.
