John Arthur Turnbull founded his gentlemen's bespoke shop with Ernest Asser in 1885. The fashion house has dressed figures such as Prince Charles, Sir Winston Churchill, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Charlie Chaplin, Sir Laurence Olivier, Lauren Bacall and Pablo Picasso.
A shirt is made from 34 pieces of cloth and 13 iridescent mother-of-pearl buttons. To ensure the highest possible quality, quality checks are executed at each end every step.
